A honeymoon in the Maldives has never sounded so good. With all of this covid-19 issue, I just wanted to get away and think of good, positive events. To be further specific, white sandy beaches, over the water bungalows, underwater restaurants, crystal clear waters, desert islands, sun and so much more.
I’m talking about the islands of the Maldives.
The Maldives is formed of about 1200 islands situated south-west from India and Sri Lanka. It’s one of the finest and most amazing honeymoon destinations in the world.
I’ve already visited its islands twice and can’t wait to fly back again. Hopefully when traveling becomes safer I’ll embark on my third Maldives vacation.
The two times I went to the Maldives I stayed at the Conrad Maldives Rangali Island hotel and at the W Maldives Hotel.
Both hotels are amazing and full of fun activities, which was important to me as not only wanted I to relax, but also try new experiences (I got to swim with a whale shark and stay at a desert island for a few hours).
The food at Conrad Maldives was the best food I’ve ever had. Comparing to the W Hotel Maldives, the Conrad has more restaurants available and of course, an underwater restaurant which is an incredible experience just by itself. I believe they now have an underwater room available.
Sandra and Jaime came into the picture when we met them in the W hotel Maldives’ pool. They are a couple from Mexico who were spending their honeymoon there.
They loved having their photos taken and that’s how the thought of me photographing them occurred. We ended up doing a photoshoot at the beach.
It was genuinely a dream. The perfect background, the madly in love couple and an incredible energy around us.
Vacationing in the Maldives has always been my number one honeymoon destination dream since I remember.
Meeting Sandra and Jaime was a pleasant coincidence that made the trip even more worth it as I got to do what I love in one of my favorite places in the world.
