The Azores is a Portuguese Archipelago of nine islands. It so happens that my mother is from Terceira, and my father-in-law from São Miguel. 
Me and my husband grew up on different islands but with similar experiences. I spent every summer in Terceira, with friends, exploring and adventuring outside. Experiencing that true film-like childhood, where we knocked on friends' doors to go play in the street until it was dark and our families screamed our names to go back home. Thinking about this brings me this happy, warm feeling of nostalgia. 

Aurora, our daughter, now has the chance to experience both islands and I can't help but remember how I felt growing up and how much I want her to have these memories kept safe for her to look back on when she's older. This is the legacy I want to leave her with.

The green, the ocean, the views, her father, the traditions, the music, the friends, the streets her grandfather and grandmother walked.
Her roots. Her family's essence.

Nothing brings me more joy than knowing she will have these special moments recorded forever.
